Post was not indexed by Board?

I posted a reply on this thread about 20 minutes ago.

My browser hung up for a few minutes during the posting. I eventually browsed away and came back to the thread to see if it had posted or been lost.

Well the post is there, but it didn't seem to register in several places.
It doesn't show up in chronological listing of forum threads, not in my subscribed threads, not in my view recent posts.

I can find the thread under Zero Reply Posts and the OP's recent posts, but it lists Replies: 0 in both places.
(maybe that's a commentary on the quality of my response)?

This is not a big deal for me and this one post, but I want to report it in case there is a glitch with the Board's new software.

Update....well it's indexed now and things seem normal.

Not sure what happened there. It didn't index until 20-25 minutes after I posted.

You can find them using google search, using site:mrexcel.com in front of the search terms. I'm pretty sure it's due to the upgrade, but I'm not 100% sure.

So it seems we will have to rely on Google for now, although it doesn’t show the results in the organized manner vBulletin used to…

When searching for Cindy’s posts,which are 1,499, the forum engine gives a result of "1 to 13 of 14", with no option for a second page.

Agreed...one of my posts was caught in the same glitch, almost exactly the same time. Looking at the thread, although the last response is mine, the list shows the post before mine as the most recent response.
