Possible to directly import data from downloadable .xlxs?

Dear gurus,
I'd like to import some data on Covid-19 to Power BI desktop; yet the datasource is a downloadable xlxs file (Epistat – Covid19 Monitoring).
Is it possible to extract and import the data directly from the excel file without download? In this way, it would be possible to automatically update through PBI regularly.

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I think so. Start with get dat, from web and point to the file. Then switch the file type to xlsx. I’m not at my pc, so I can’t test it, sorry

Thanks for your prompt help! I tried this way; only to receive a prompt window by PBI for a file selection...
Did I miss sth important?
