I am not sure how to ask this question but I am looking at election result data, specifically Margins of Victory in presidential elections. I have hand-drawn charts given to me by an author and they want positive values on both sides of the x-axis to show when a state was won by a republican party candidate (above the x-axis) and by a democrat party candidate (below the x-axis). I am not completely sure how to accomplish this in excel. I have tried creating multiple charts and pivot tables in excel which all work out great, but the values centered around zero always show a negative below the x axis. I have included a picture of the hand-drawn version and my current excel workbook. Thank you for any help.
