I'm fairly new to Access and I have a new database set up.

I have one table that lists my associates, name, hire date, department.

I have another table that lists courses - Course #, Course Name and Course Level
Example, 101, Orientation, Level 1; 102, APS, Level 1 and on and on for 55 courses in 5 different levels.

I am trying to create a form for data entry - I want to be able to just type the course # and have the course name and level populate based on the table I created.

Is there any way of doing this?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi tuneboon

An autolookup is your answer. They are quite tricky to set up as you need to create a one-to-many relationships between tables, but they are powerful. Look in the Access help -read carefully.

Try that
