Hi Guys.

This is my first forum post, so please bear with me if I ask a bit of a dumb question. I have a dataset that consists of nine headings:
(1) Programme; (2) Tracking Area; (3) Indicator; (4 - 9) Countries (e.g. South Africa, France, Columbia, etc.).

The dataset is populated with numerical values for the 6 country headings (which represent specific targets for these countries), with unique categorical values for the Indicator heading, with 3 categories for the Programme heading, each of which is subdivided by the Tracking Area heading into two or three other categories.

On another spreadsheet, I have 7 headings: (1) Indicator; (2 - 7) Countries (as in the other spreadsheet).

On this spreadsheet, I also have two cells. In one of these cells I type in a category from the Programme column from the previous sheet, and in the other I type in a category from the Tracking Area column.

When I do this, I would like the database on this sheet to populate itself with the relevant indicators and numerical values for each country, for the programme and tracking area specified. I have been playing around with array functions, but haven't been able to figure out how to do this. (I use Excel 2013).

Really appreciate any help that anyone could offer on how to do this.
