Hi I have been roped in to do a pool league team sheet , what I cant work out is how to add 2 points to winning teams weekly result ie team a 5 team b 2 so team a has 5 plus two for winning it should be easy but can not get head round it

all I have at present is a list of teams down left hand column and dates along the top

Start by creating a second sheet with each fixture so you can list the results. Have a column for Home Team, Home Score, Home Points, Away Team, Away Score, Away Points
Then on your League sheet you will need a Sumif command on the Team in each row Vs Sheet with results

I don't think I explained very well what I am trying to do ,what I need is a league table of all the teams if it was simple like if you win 4 games you get 4 points but I wont to add 2 points for winning ie if my team won 5 2 lhe league score would be 7 2 dose that make sense

Show how you are recording the result of each game as at the moment all you are stating is the teams are down one side and not how the actual result is recorded.

just the number of points for each game no bonuses added
