Can someone point me in the right direction?
I have a list of websites.
www.server.website1.com
www.website1.com
www.server2.website2.inf
website.info

What I want do do is put the last two sections (example: website1.com) into a separate column so that I can start counting things that are the same.
I assume I have to count the number of "dots" (periods" and start an extract from the second one forward, but I am unsure how to put it all together in a comprehensive formula or VB script.

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Try this UDF.
Code:
Public Function Last2(address As String) As String
    Dim parts As Variant
    parts = Split(address, ".")
    Last2 = parts(UBound(parts) - 1) & "." & parts(UBound(parts))
End Function
Use as a cell formula: =Last2(A1)
