PMs and filter

Hi guys is there a way that a filter can be added to allow or block PMs from whoever.

I get a load and so do others, but the best ones are pals and the abusive ones!! which keeps me intertained but nw after so long is a drag.

Like MSN can we choose who to allow - see guys log on as someone different name ad abuse, so i get PM from guys i never hurd of or see, so its pointless, i would rather have PM of any nature from a name i know.

If MrExcel PM me to say Jack well done or Jack you a fool! im happy with that as its from Bill. But all the rubbish is all i bit silly

i do have help tracking these PM and and as you know things have gone quiet as late for me, i can generally track the PM and emails from source sometimes to ID, but is a lot of effort.

My view is s gusy abuse each other on a nasty basis then they should be warned or lose there membershp and BLOCK that IP address.

I stand up for friends and thats more than anyone on this site and i fight for EVERYONE not Jack.

OK i open tell someone to get knotted if needs be ON THE MESSAGE BOARD not dirty PMs thats my point

I gt so many emails saying that guys [from guys i never have hurd of] saying its nice i stand up and defend HELP others, of cause ill try.

I get this once a week or so, and the abuse is the same level from guys i do not know.

OK Names at random Ian Mac, Ivan, NateO,Chris D, MrExcel, JPG, all our moderators on the main borard if they contact me i want to know - as i know its important and constructive.

PM from some my no so supportave members it kinda wasting my time and i do not see this as vey exciting - some are funny i add, but not family reading

BTW the guy who cleaverly sent my hotmail 3 57mb emails i enjoyed that, but sorry hotmail blocked it???? Now you should have known its 2mb MAX and then refuses untill i enpty it

Good idea, I seem to recall theofficeexperts.com has an option to create an "Ignore List". Do they use a different version of php though? I can't remember.

Yes that site uses PHP differet to hear, sadly i do not surf there any longer and have no plans to, but i will say the site is rally very vey good, traffic is a tad slow, but the many forumns are really good i feel.

Everyones on the safe list thats the problem - i dont mind any PM really but takles so long to delete them else its so slow, also the abuse is bad.

Filter to number of posts would be good so i can say ive noticed most abusers are very low posts, i would filter at 100 or 200 with safe lists options of casue.

You on safe list - ermm then again you know how to contact me even if im not arround how safe is that???

Jack, I got the boot disk, thanks man. I've still to put it on a floppy. There may be more PC upgrades in the near future, so that will definitely come in handy. I can't believe the difference a new motherboard and DDR RAM makes.

That boot disk is ?? Reminds me of what i called my buddy Ivan F Moala once

Its a little different and does the business will boot ANY Windows verson to CD, cool eh!! VESRIONS??? I never knew Microsoft amde things difficult - no boot disk when you buy Windoes 98 and 98 V2 and 98SE ??? or W95 or Y2k or Nt4 and so on... and little toos like FDISK and Format.com, hang on deltree??? missing. Xcopy32 and basic xcopy, edit normally missing such a tool, can do all sort like write your own Autoexec.exe file and re boot???

Can Microsoft invest $$ and get it in Jacks opinion wrong

Post to Redland or throw it in the bin or do as Jack does use as an ash tray from my cuban cigars i love!!! they work better for this application and can create funny models if you try hard.

You will wipe a Hard Drive with format why ????

I woudl boot with my disk enter under A/: and open the dos folder FDISK straing way, but wtgh Jacks trick

A: FDISK/MBR

MBR = Master Boot Record KILLS it dead thats where many virus files hide ???NASTY and they will not go if you fromat 100000000 times MBR kills these

BUT GDISK is better than FDISK no shock MSoft if poor .

Now after FDISKMBR you will see it does NOTHING dont worry

Now FDISK as normal 100 dos blar blar and then format not formatq do it long way

Then bood to CD and wack Windows on

Then loadantivirus and get on teh net and update the virus checker and run it DEEP FULL SCAN!

The PC you now control

BTW this wipe will distroy ALL DATA

ALL WILL BE LOST WARNING>>>> BE CAREFUL!!!

Some of waht yopu have is not really worth wile like the M dirive stuff!! but hey the rest in as cool as GURULISTIC!!

Look at the technologies that have changes

MB process and channel data better and teh cashe is higher blar blar !! !very good now

DDR Ram ??? Come on you know my feeling there, if you choose to use the best on the market what do you expect?

You run E98 dome run more than 128MB its not going to thank you, speed can slow up!!
