Hello everybody, I do have a problem with scatter charts.

I have chemical analyses data with 3 elements I need to plot them into a scatter chart altogether. The "normal" scatter diagram in excel allows me to plot only 2 (one for X and one for Y axis).

Is there any way to include in the plot also the third value?

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Excel can plot 3 series of data on a scattered graph; by default the first serie will be used for the X and the other two for 2 series of Y values.
The attached grapf is an example:
-I selected A1:C23
-Menu /Insert /Graph; selected one of the available scatter styles
-that's all

Bye
