Hi there,

I am looking advice on plotting a graph that shows product sales for each product over time;
<colgroup><col style="width:48pt" span="3" width="64"> </colgroup><tbody>
Code

23rd Nov
30th Nov

K016

</tbody>
There are 3 coloums in my data above. We have one for the product code, then the dates showing how many products were sold on each date. I would like to plot the date along the x-axis, then have the product code along the left y axis, and the values on the right y axis.

From this I would be able to see quickly any increases or decreases in product sales over a given time.

Can you help?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Assuming you want to plot a line chart: select the entire data table and inset a line chart. Once you see the legend - right click on either 23rd Nov or 30th Nov and select format data series > plot series on secondary axis.
Finally you can format the chart size shape and axis range for symmetry if require.
