Hi Susan,

There are a few visualizations that can help - just a few examples:

1) Clustered column chart -

You can move Year to "Axis" and Company to "Legend" -

2) Stacked column chart -

Similar to the previous visualization, you can also switch fields -

3) Pie / Donut

4) Treemap -

----------------------

You can also try Ribbon chart, Stacked area chart, Area chart... I'm sure there are even more ways of doing that, since PowerBI allows you to download custom visualizations.
I won't paste any more pictures as moderators will probably ban me for that haha :) but I hope this will give you some ideas.

Good luck,
Justyna

@JustynaMK while plotting these charts I am not able to change the size and shape of the Legends. In my version of Power BI, there is no option of "Marker Size" given. So how can I solve this issue? It would be great if you could help me out

Hi Susan, would you be able to paste a screenshot of your current view and let me know which chart did you choose to work with?

All formatting options should be available on the right-hand side, in "Visualizations" pane:

Hey.. I am getting the options as per the screenshot you have pasted above but there is no option under the Legend to change the "size" and the "shape" of the Legend Icon?

Oh! Sorry, took me a while to get it :) unfortunately, it is not possible to change the size of "dots" (markers) on the legend:

On some visualizations, like Line Chart, you are able to change the Style of a marker and show them as line instead of marker (see screnshot below), but that's really it.
That being said, Microsoft is releasing a new PowerBI version every month so maybe in a few months they will also introduce this option?
