plotting blank cells

When I graph an array that contains blank cells it plots those cells as zeros even though in the options menu I have asked it to not plot blank cells at all. Those blank cells do contain an if-then statement, but as a result of that if then statement they are blank. I was wondering why the program may still be plotting those cells as zeros rather than blanks.
Thanks

In your IF statement, set the return to NA(), as #N/A won't plot.

I.E. =IF(B1="",NA(),"")

Hope that helps,
