I have a db with a simple embedded macro.

OpenReport:
Report Name: Director
View: Print Preview
Filter Name: (none)
Where Condition: (nothing)
Window Mode: Normal

The report will open in print preview, however I cannot do anything else. Can't even close it!
If I do the Alt+Tab back and forth, I can then close the preview, otherwise I can click on every button in the ribbon and get nothing.....

It is like it has lost the focus but don't know why, or how to get it back.....

I am at my wits end with this, if anyone can help me out with this, I would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
PuJo

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
What calls the macro? Is there any code behind whatever calls the embedded macro?
If so, two options:
- put a break on the line that calls your macro then do whatever action causes it to be called. Your code should stop at the calling line, after which you'd F8 to step through any code from that point on. After the report opens, Windows should make the code window active again, and the next code line should be highlighted, so you'd repeat F8 while you watch what happens. I suspect something is hung up after the report opens, or you have entered a continuous loop.
- try your pause/break key and/or ctrl+pause/break and see what happens. You might get a message that code execution has been interrupted, which would confirm the above.
