I have read the "Rules for posting" and the FAGs a couple of times. This statement appears in the "Rules";
"At the top of every forum index is a link labeled "View Your posts in this forum." Use this link to find your posts. You can "bump" posts back up to the top by posting a reply in the thread.”
I have searched and search and can find no link that will bring me to my previous posts. The only way I know to find my previous post is to record the time I posted and search for my posting by using the time I posted as a reference. I have also never seen anything “bump” to the top of the Forum, once my question is a couple of pages down the line, that’s the end of it, I will receive no more responses.
I was reprimanded for “reposting” yesterday and told to post my questions on my original thread, which was by that time gone (removed?). In my mind it wasn’t the same question but is was related, so okay. I don’t want to violate the rules. I greatly appreciate this form and the help people have given me.
If I don’t get an answer or the response is insufficient and I post that fact (and I get no reply) would courtesy dictate that I go away for a day or so before trying again? If that is the way it is, fine; I just want to understand.
