Sheet 1 data changes each day, however I need sheet 2 to record each individual day of the months figures for historical purposes.

Simple example provided below, Please let me know if this is clear.

Sheet 1 (Figure changes on daily basis) on Nov. 3 = $5.00

Sheet 2 (Monthly View )
Nov. 1 = $x.xx
Nov. 2= $xx.xxx
Nov. 3 = $5.00

Thanks.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
I'm guessing there is more to this job than your post suggests but I will bite anyway. I'm curious why you don't copy > paste special (values) from Sheet 1 to a new row in a table on Sheet 2? Is that what you currently do? Or is that not an option?

yes, this what I currently do, however I'd like to avoid the manual copy and paste function.

Its pretty simple really, but im looking for an automation so I dont have to manually copy and paste each day....

Sheet 1 data set changes each day. For simplicity this is a risk dollar amount.

I need sheet 2 to record each days risk dollar amount from sheet 1, so by end of month I can view every days risk.

let me know if this is clear. Thanks.
