my original unanswered question is at the bottom.

I've exported this page ( All Currencies | Crypto-Currency Market Capitalizations ) to Excel (there probably could have been an easier/more effective method of doing so, but I digress), thus making it a web query that updates the prices every so often. How can I make this data sortable, while still keeping it refreshable?

When I try and turn the data range into a table, I get a prompt saying that it overlaps one or more external data ranges etc. When I select yes, the data no longer refreshes.

How can I get up-to-date bitcoin prices from the Coinbase exchange into excel?[/h]
I'll start with my most important question, so as not to be a bore. Plus, I could probably learn from there.

How can I get up-to-date bitcoin (sell, if anything) prices from the Coinbase exchange onto an excel spreadsheet? All the directions I've been reading are telling me that it'd be easier with other programs, but I want to get better at excel.

p.s. https://btcquote.com/ is an embeddable, real-time coinbase price ticker/widget.

I would understand if the above question is enough, and you don't need to go any further..but here's the rest of it.

I am constructing a portfolio of numerous cryptocurrencies (Crypto-Currency Market Capitalizations), with many of them trading on different exchanges. Coinbaseis the only regulated exchange, so that's going to be the bulk of the portfolio. I studied Finance at college but there is no way for me to do much with a brokerage account with ten dollar trading fees and limited funds. I have this whole project mapped out in my head and I can't even begin it. I know it's possible, though. I watched a video of some guy doing it with stocks, but his method no longer works.

Please help me.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
