Hi All,

I have a pivottable with multiple items in the column section. I have tried modifying the pivottable using the Pivottable styles editor but can't seem to get what I want to achieve to work and would appreciate any advice

I have put a picture below with two examples (with made up data)

As you can see I have two items in the "Column" section. "Country of origin" on the first row, followed by a "number" on the second row.
I want to put borders down the side of each column based on where the Country column ends rather than on every single column. I have done an example in the second table below on what I want to achieve but I want it to work with data moving as the pivot table.

Any advice is really appreciated

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Just to add, I have used "Second Column Stripe" format to make the line go through the data, but I really want to make it go all the way up including the headings/subheadings. I've tried using the "Column Subheading 1" (and 2 and 3) but this puts lines at the end of each cell rather than in line with the content.
