PivotTable Fields - Field list is auto expanding every time I pull a new field into the pivot table...how to I change this.

I am not referring to the pivot table itself but I am referring to the fields in the field list menu. I list all the fields in my menu to be collapsed because there are so many of them grouped nicely but everytime I pull a new field in the whole list expands and it is super annoying. I can't find any info about this on the usual sites.
