I'm trying to get account count totals by platform using pivotby and groupby (image attached).
The formula gets me the counts on the other columns that contain dates but returns 0 on the count of account names when using the count function.
I have tried using groupby COUNTA but on the dates, it is counting even the blanks.

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Instead of just COUNT, use HSTACK(COUNTA,COUNT,COUNT)

There is no need to repeat the link(s) provided above but if you have posted the question at other places, please provide links to those as well.

If you do cross-post in the future and also provide links, then there shouldn’t be a problem.

Sorry about that. I wasn't aware of that rule :(
Thank you for that solution. It worked.
