I have a list of payments, and for each one I specify a region and a type from a table of regions and a table of types

I've created a PIVOT table to create daily reports, where columns have possible combinations of region and type

I tried PIVOT Region&Type IN (select region&type from region, type) so that all possible combinations are shown - even ones for which there are no payments that day - but that syntax is not allowed

how do I get around this problem?

thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
PS I thought of trying to use LEFT/RIGHT JOIN in order to produce all combinations, but, not being too familiar with them, i didn't manage that
