I need to create a pivot table that references two data tables -- Budget table and an Actual Table. They are on separate worksheets, but how do I reference both data sheets?

Thank you,
Tom

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Thank you for your response, but this only allows for one dataset selection for a Pivot Table. I need to reference multiple Excel data tables in the same Pivot Table. Thoughts? Thanks!

see this

you can add as many as you want

or post an example with your data structure and expected result (excel file)

edit:
or try Power Query (Get&Transform)

If you have more recent version of excel I would suggest you use power pivot and making data models. This makes it very easy to report on multiple data tables in the same report.
