Hello, I have a pivot table that pulls data from time card records for projects. Each project has several time card entries and I want to find the duration of a project based on the first time card entry (earliest date) and the last time card entry (last date) for each project. I have a pivot table set up and used Min and Max values to ID the earliest and last date for each project. I tried to create a "calculated field" but can't seem to find the right formula because the return value is ZERO instead of the correct duration. Can someone help?

Thank you!

Hi,

By doing this Excel kinda treats it like a seperate column and tries to calculate Date-Data which will always be 0.

This can however easily be fixed by using Power Pivot, and creating a couple of measures. Do you have Power pivot?
