Hello-

Just wondering if it is possible to apply an autofilter to my Pivot Table.

From viewing some of the how-to's it appears that a down error, i.e. pull down filter option is available in Pivot Tables, but I can't figure out how to apply this to my Pivot Tables.

Any advice?

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
After the pivot table is completed then you can right click on the upper left hand column identifer. Choose field in the drop down menu then select the advanced button. On the next pop-up screen is teh ability to sort or autoshow. Good luck I hope this helps

Thanks for the response and I am familar with this tool, however it doesn't give me exactly what I am looking for.

I do appreciate your effort.

I am using Microsoft Excel 2000 Formulas text and this is where I got this URL from. Multiple references within the images in this book show a down arrow on the pivot tables. From knowing this down arrow in Microsoft Excel, I would suspect this indicates a pull down menu. I can't seem to figure it out.

I can provide page numbers specific to what I am talking about if that will help others help me.

Thanks!
