Hi All<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
I am new to pivot tables and using charts so my questions are fairly basic, I have tried to explain them as best as I can but if you need further explanation please just ask.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Below is a copy of a pivot table I have created which shows the planned due dates for a package of works.<o:p></o:p>

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 136pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=182 border=0 x:str><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 110pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 5376" width=147><COL style="WIDTH: 26pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 1280" width=35><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; WIDTH: 110pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=147 height=17>Count of Work Package</TD><TD class=xl25 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; WIDTH: 26pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=35></TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl24 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17>WP Due Date</TD><TD class=xl25 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent">Total</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl27 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40079">23/09/2009</TD><TD class=xl25 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>2</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl29 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40080">24/09/2009</TD><TD class=xl26 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>5</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl29 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40082">26/09/2009</TD><TD class=xl26 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>2</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl29 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40101">15/10/2009</TD><TD class=xl26 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>4</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl29 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40132">15/11/2009</TD><TD class=xl26 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>19</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl29 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40162">15/12/2009</TD><TD class=xl26 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #eeeed0; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>12</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl30 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #eeeed0; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right height=17 x:num="40193">15/01/2010</TD><TD class=xl28 style="BORDER-RIGHT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: #eeeed0; BORDER-LEFT: black 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: black 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right x:num>10</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I am trying to create a graph from this data and have the following two problems.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
1) I have created a simple line graph from this data but the x axis only goes from the start date to the end date, ticked at each of the dates listed.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
What I wanted to do was to create a chart that shows a start point of the First date listed finishing on the last date listed, with a tick mark for each week.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
2) The data in the pivot table is the current date the works should be completed on which will change due to supply of information needed for the task.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
I wish to map the original dates for completing the task (Baseline) against the current set of completion dates. Is it possible to do this on one chat from one pivot table? <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
I have read about overlaying two charts to get this affect but would seem like a lot of work for something I presumed I would be able to-do on one chart.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Thanks in advance for any Help offered<o:p></o:p>

Regards

Mike
