Hi,

I am wondering if a Pivot Table would be the best method to achieve the results we are looking for.

We operate a small carrier company and we would like to filter broker contacts based on the lanes we run in.
The brokers could have inbound/outbound loads in multiple lanes

I am thinking a splicer to select the lane(s) we run then return the brokers. Ive tried to source a template to reference but am unable do find one.

What i have started is the following:
Sheet 1 (Lanes): Territory|Region ID|Lanes| Broker ID|Broker
Sheet 2 (Brokers): RegionID|BrokerID|Broker|Phone|Email|Company|LaneID|Region
Sheet 3(Brokers List): Broker ID|Broker|Company| Contact Number|email

I know i have messed up but not sure where the error is - I dont think I need sheets 2 and 3 but combined into 1.

I am thinking that i have to assign ID's to each broker to make them unique then somehow attach multiple brokers to the lanes based on those ID's we run in but I do not know how to do that...I am so far removed from excel.

Just need some help talking and thinking this through. TIA

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
when you have power pivot you can make relations between tables
