I have a pivot table that has a Priority column in it. If I go to a cell in that column and put a 1 it fills the entire column with the number 1. I'm hoping to be able to change this priority level in the Pivot table with out going back to the source data. Is this possible?

Hello! Create a duplicate field (in my case, "salary"). Go to the parameters of this field, go to the second tab and select “The largest to the smallest” (see photo), as well as select the field by which you need a rank (in the photo of the “teacher”).

And this is what happened.

The source table has two columns: teachers and salary. The summary is built on this table. In the summary, a duplicate of salaries is created by transferring salaries to a window. As a result, you will have two columns with a salary. By the right button on the second copy of the salary and select the parameters (last item) in the menu. In the window that opens, select the second tab and in it in the list select the rank. Below the names of the columns in the source table will be displayed. Choose teachers. Then you can give a new name to this column (I gave it the name Rank). As a result, you will have a summary as in my message above.
