Pivot Table Subtotals

I have a pivot table with two Row Fields. The first row field has automatic subtotals enabled. However, about half of the data only have one piece of data for the second row field, the other half of the data has multiple data. The problem is that I do not want to show subtotals for those items that consist of only one row, but I do want subtotals for those that have multiple rows.

RF1 RF2
A 1
A 2
B 1
C 1
E 1
E 2
E 3

Using the above data as a simple example I want there to be subtotals for "A" and "E" only. Please note that the Data -> Subtotal is not useful because I also have a few Column Fields and two Page fields.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Sorry, you can't selectively apply Subtotals (all or none); however, if your PivotTable is as simple as suggested above you could create 2 Calculated Items that do the same thing.
