Hi all. I have the simple pivot table below but don't want to total each row, however, I do want to total the highlighted subtotal rows. How do I hide/remove the totals showing "1" in the total column?
I'm sure there is an easy way but I'm not seeing it.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
I'm not sure I understand how you have the word total instead of Grand Total at the end.
But, this removes "Grand Totals".

Hi. Thank you for responding. I just deleted the word "grand".
I still want the grand totals for AEC1, AEC2, and AEC3, etc. I am trying to remove all the "1"s from the total column I want the "10" for AEC1 in the total column, but would like to lose all the "1"s. They are distracting.

I don't know how your data looks. I just am showing you hot to turn off row totals. And technically by default I am giving you subtotals of columns by group, there is just no other divisions are added in my example as you did not request any information on the subtotaling the section.

You have posted your question with only the report. I have no idea how to create data that would get you sub sections in your rows.
Mr. Excel has a tool called xl2bb add in (link is below, in my foot note area). Please post your data.

Best wishes.
