Hi. I have attached a screenshot of a pivot table I am playing with. I have erased some data for obvious reasons and I dont want to upload the data I am playing with.

Basically, I just want a total for each site number. Some sites have more than one reason (more than one engineer). But, I have ticked the option for subtotals to show at the bottom. I have not turned off the grand totals option.
It seems to be doing a total for each engineer, then another total for the head office or the 2 engineers (there could be more than 2), then another final grand total.

I only one one grand total i.e the arrow highlighted in green. whatever, I do with the subtotals options on the design menu or the the pivot table options under pivot table analyze it doesnt give me what I want.

Any help would be appreciated. Hope I have explained that clearly.

Thanks

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Right-click each field that you don't want subtotals for, and turn them off.
