When applying Pivot Table functionality to a set of raw data is very useful, however I am unable to refresh the raw data and it flow through to the existing pivot table. Are you not able to edit the raw data and it flow through to the existing pivot table. Even if I try to create a new pivot table with the revised raw data, the data change does not flow through. Can you explain why this is happening? How can you create pivot tables and refresh to reflects the latest in your dynamic raw data set?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
If the raw data is inside a proper excel table, then it is straightforward working.
If it is a range, then you'd need to revert to a dynamic range formula using index or offset.
Plenty of examples on the net are available.
