Hello,

I'm not sure if this is possible in Excel, but I would find it very useful if it is!

When using multiple slicers, often you'll end up with greyed out slicer buttons where data isnt available for the current filtered data.

Is there a way to prevent these 'greyed out' options from even appearing in the slicer (given they are not available to select). So in the example below, only Canada, Italy & USA would appear in the slicer box.

Any guidance would be appreciated
Thanks

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
aha! I'm such a fool... just found it!

Right Click > Slicer Settings > Hide Items with No Data
