pivot table showing 0 instead of -

I've looked through the forum and can't find an answer to this. In options, I've set it to Calculate as Displayed and my formatting in the pivot table for the Amount column is Accounting with $, but it is showing some 0 (zeroes) as $0.00 or ($0.00) and some as $ - (which is what I want). I'd be more than happy to attach the file, but I don't see where I can do that. I only see a link. I don't understand the difference.:confused:

Regarding your issue, you almost certainly don't have exactly 0 values - that's just what you are seeing due to the cell format rounding them.

Finally, you can't post attachments here.

Please check your data whether the data is zero "0" , or contains any number after the 2 digit decimal like 0.00125
check the formula bar for decimals.
