Hi,
I have a table that I use to track my expendings every year. I have three main categories (Taxes, Recurring Expenses and Atypical Expenses). Under each category, I have a number of expenses, like this (I'm making this up, since I'm from Brasil and taxes and expenses are different than in english:

Type of expenseName of expenseValueDateMonthYear
TaxesIncome tax$5001/1/2020january2020
TaxesHousing tax$2001/1/2020january2020
Recurring ExpensesRent$4002/1/2020february2020
Recurring ExpensesWater$100and so on...and so on...and so on...
Recurring ExpensesEnergy$50and so on...and so on...and so on...
Atypical ExpensesGas$100and so on...and so on...and so on...
Atypical ExpensesParking$30and so on...and so on...and so on...
Atypical ExpensesClothes$200and so on...and so on...and so on...
Atypical ExpensesFarmacy$100and so on...and so on...and so on...

I want the pivot table to show, every year, this list of expenses under the same category listed on the table, even if there is no value in them. When I select "show items with no data", the pivot table messes up, losing the subcategories. It starts to show something like this:

Taxes
Income tax
Housing tax
Rent
Water
Energy
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy
Recurring Expenses
Income tax
Housing tax
Rent
Water
Energy
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy
Atypical expenses
Income tax
Housing tax
Rent
Water
Energy
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy

What I would like is to maintain the subcategories in the pivot table, even without data on them (like when I star a new year). Is this possible?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I'm sorry, the example is not good... I tried using spaces, but it formatted differently. What I wanted to say is:

It starts to show something like this:

Taxes
Income tax
Housing tax
Rent
Water
Energy
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy
Recurring Expenses
Income tax
Housing tax
Rent
Water
Energy
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy
Atypical expenses
Income tax
Housing tax
Rent
Water
Energy
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy

and what I want is:

Taxes
Income tax
Housing tax
Recurring Expenses
Rent
Water
Energy
Atypical expenses
Gas
Parking
Clothes
Farmacy
