How do I achieve this with the pivot table itself without copying and pasting to another sheet as values and then inserting the % ? Can I do it within the Pivot Table ?

Hello, yes you can get the "% of Grad Total " from the pivot table
go to :
add the "Grand Total" field to the Values section
and then go to the Field setting
and then choose in the "Show data as" "% of Grand Total"

If I do that, I am getting a percentage for every month as below. However, the desired solution is to have the % only for the grand total. Is this possible within the pivot table?

I don't believe that you can have the pivot show % on GT and not show it for each month.
The closest I can get to what you want is by:-
in the columns box of the pivot fields navigation pane, you will have something like mth on the 1st row and Values on the 2nd row.
Swap them around and put Values first. You will then get all of you Sum of Sales together and all your Sum of Sales2 together. Hide the column containing Sales2.
