Even though there's data in the source data, it's oddly skipping certain values in the pivot table after multiple refreshes and formula checks. Anyone run into this? It's a numerical value of a date and not the same date that's missing. It's the most peculiar thing.

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
I would suspect that someone has accidentally overtyped those cells with something like a space. Try dragging the field off the pivot table, refreshing the data, and then putting it back.

That's what's weird. I went and double-checked // recalc'd and made sure there were no blanks there. Still showing the same thing even with the toggle.

If you enter =LEN(A2) in a blank cell, replacing A2 with a reference to one of the problem cells, what does it return?

Sounds like a cell format issue then - either manual or conditional format. Most likely font colour or number format.
