For some reason on the Layout and Format tab, under the Layout option, the "Merge and center cells with labels" is checked when I first create a new pivot table (it seems to be a default setting).
I looked in the backstage options on the Data tab (I'm running 365 on my computer) but I don't see where I can prevent this from happening.
Is there a default pivot table setting in Excel which I can uncheck so that my pivot table labels are left aligned and not centered when I create them?
I was trying to do a web search on this feature but I don't know the terminology I would use to find what I'm looking for
Thank you for your help in advance
Michael
