Hi,
Prior to today (WED 08/23/17) if I had a worksheet with a pivot table on it, formatted, etc, and wanted to email it out w/o the pivot functions, I could highlight the entire worksheet (click corner button to the left of A, and above 1), Ctl+C, right-click in cell A1, then Paste-Special Values. It would remove the pivot function, but keep all formatting (borders, # formats, column widths, wrapped text, etc) allowing me to delete out the source data tab to keep the file very small, and not allow the user to manipulate.
I'm using Windows 10, Excel 2016. This morning I received some type of App update (Outlook, Skype, Excel) and since then, it will not allow me to copy, paste-special values and keep my formats. it will copy, paste-special, but then I lose all the formatting associated within the pivot table. It won't allow me to paste-special formats after that?
I can copy & paste-special values, then paste-special formats to a new worksheet, but then I have to reformat all my page settings, delete out the other tabs, and rename the new tabs. Has anyone had this issue come up? Any fixes?
I have several tabs w/i workbooks that I do this with daily so I can email out reports to groups of people, so having to do page formatting & naming of tabs for each sheet would be very time consuming for me.
Thank you!
