Hi,
I've created a pivot table (feeding a pivot chart) that is counting the number of instances of occurrences over some time periods. I want it to also display the average (median and also mean) over the full time period (the time periods cover 1 hourly slots, the full data covers an entire year).
I thought if i created a calculated function that would work but it doesn't display it.
The calculated function - named Average month of incident (it created itself its own tab for the function) displays the right figure in the tab but it doesn't matter what i selected within the pivot table options (and subsequent value field settings - sum, max etc) it only shows 0 in the table.
What do i need to do?

Where it shows 0 in "Max of Average Month of Incident" it should show 1311

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
