Hello,

Is it possible to insert a second grand total in the pivot table?

My pivot has period averages and period actuals, could be 3 or 4 periods, hence 6 or 8 columns. The grand total is for actual, but i want to insert a second grand total for the averages.

If a second grand total can't be included within the pivot, can i add this to automatically run using VBA?

I will appreciate your assistance.

Thank you

Hi,

We can't do it nor with VBA but we can add a field:
1.Click on pivot
2.Analyse tab
3.Click on fields, items and sets
4.Select Calculated fields
5. Give your field a name (Grand Total Average)
6. In the formula, average of all the fields that you want
7. Click ok
8. You can move your new field to the values
