Hi, not having found any answer on the web helping me with this, I make my first post in here...
I'm using Excel 2013 on win10, no Power Tools, not IA...
I'm making a file with a pivot table that should help me deal with packages or Assemblies,
So I have a table/sheet "assembly" with the information for an assembly "A" I need parts # 3 & 5 ; for a "B" I need parts : 2, 4, and 6 ...
The second table/sheet "stock" has the number of stock parts for each part and other info like color... e.g. part# 3 we have 6 parts in stock and is orange...
"partially working Pivot Table"
I get to filter on B2 the assembly I want, and it shows me on the PT the "Bill Of Materials" / parts needed for that assembly.
I can get to show the quantity needed from "assembly"
but I cannot get it to show properly show the stock for each part, it actually shows me the sum of the whole stock
I would like it to show the stock for each row
I would pretty much preffer to leave the tables untouched since they will be updated with a query...
Both tables have been linked with a relantionship on "part#"
And data has been added to the "model" when creating the pivot table (not sure if it matters...)
