Pivot table - collapse and refresh

Hi I seem to be having an issue with my pivot table where I want to refresh my pivot table without it getting collapse as I use get pivot formula and I need certain cells from the pivot table but when I update my main data source the pivot table collapses. I have tried pivot table options and ticking ‘preserve cell formatting on update but still no luck.

Hi this problem already has a solution with the grouping for the date being removed and just needs to be re-grouped. thanks
