I'm dealing with ALOT of data the best way to summary and display is via a Pivot Table with charting option. No big deal. However I need to create a dynamic calculation field to allow the end user play around with input options. Is there a way to insert a calculated field that can link/reference to a cell outside the pivot table that can change pending user input?

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
In short, no.

You can have a data field in your source data which could depend on your user input. Then a Worksheet_Change event which would refresh the Pivot Table whenever your user value was changed.
