Hi,

I'm just needing assistance with my Pivot Table. The blue square along the top is covering employee names, each column is split into each employee in our team. Going down the left are key skills like budget, excel, data ect.

I am wanting to add a second splicer that divides also into interested or not interested. So, essentially say you select from the splicer budgeting, I want another splicer that further can select interest or no interested.

If anyone can provide any suggestions that'd be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi horizonblue,

I suspect you may have trouble with this based on the way your dataset is set out. I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure you may need to structure your data so that it can be read properly to form a pivot table and any slicers you may want to add. However in doing this, often you will need to duplicate data to accommodate this (such as a row for each employee for each skill etc.) and you may find that the dataset size increases significantly. I could be wrong in this - and I'm sure others with more experience may step in to say otherwise if so.

You can achieve it with something like:

If there's another way to achieve this without having to duplicate employees/skills etc. I too would be keen to know because this is often a common issue whenever I'm trying to work with pivots.

Hope this helps,

Noodles
