Pivot table and graph for member data for a non-profit

Background
I run a small nonprofit. I have a subset Table (TblData) - see attached that contains members joining dates and dates for leaving. There are other columns of data for the nonprofit but not shown.
I have other pivot tables for this other data in the main table that is not shown.
My Issue
I can create a pivotable for "Reason for Leaving 1 and 2 and 3" but when I add the "Date joined" the "Reason for leaving 1 and 2 and 3" go blank for those that have two dates per member (joining and Reason for leaving date.
I am also having a challenge on how to 'create' the number of active members per year as at 31/12/**** from their Date Joined date
My preferred Output
I would like to know the number of active members per year as at 31/12/****. Considering the losses under Reason for leaving 1 and 2 and 3 columns in a pivot table if possible
The end result would be a column graph that would show the the number of active members and Reason for leaving 1 and 2 and 3 losses for each year
I have attached an example of my challenges.
