Hey everyone,

I am working on a project where we took a survey from workers with about 40 questions. They are matrix questions that (IE do you strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, strongly agree), that is made up of about 5 groups of questions. Each group has about 4-5 questions in it. We took the survey in Q1 and just finished out Q2 survey. What I want is to create a pivot chart (or another way to do this I don't know if this is most efficient) to create pivot charts with each group of questions in a single pivot chart. So say group questions overarching is cross-departmental communication, there are 5 questions. I want a pivot chart that has all five questions and what the response count was in each quarter. It seems right now all I can do is one question per chart other wise there is like 10 bars for each section.

For example our data in excel is set up like so
Qtr,Question 1, Question 2, Question 3, Question 4, Question 5....it continues on throughout all the questions

Questions 1-5 are in the same "group" of questions

I want to display Questions 1-5's strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, strongly agree counts for q1 and q2 on one pivot chart. Is this possible?

Thanks!!!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Here is an example of what I want but with multiple questions in that chart set up the same way.
