Pivot Table and Chart

I've created a pivot table and then a line graph chart that points to it. When I filter the pivot, my line graph adjusts on command in a very responsive way. However, the grid lines and totals on the left do not coincide with the graph bars unless I'm viewing all data as assigned in the pivot filter. When I filter down on the pivot the grid lines and totals shift up and leave a space of white starting at the bottom of the graph to extend up around 1 inch. When I hover over my the bars in my graph, I can see the correct totals. However, when I compare those to the totals on the left, I can see that it's off due to the shift. Does anyone know how to resolve?
