Pivot Date Question

I created a pivot that that has a "YYYY-MM" column (2018-01). My source data displays the date using the custom format of YYYY-MM and displays as 2018-01. When I create my pivot, the date displays as "Jan", "Feb", etc even though I have multiple years in my source data. I have tried to format the pivot using the same custom format but it is not working. I need the date on the pivot to display as 2018-01, 2018-02, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
