I'm sure this is simple but I haven't been able to figure it out (I'm a very new user). Watched a few instructional YouTube videos and it seems like I'm doing it correctly.
I have two sheets, both with identical part number columns. One sheet has forecast values for 2014 and the other for 2015. Both have been converted to PowerPivot tables and I created a relationship between the two tables based on part number column (which are identical in both tables, no repeating part number).
I created a pivot to just compare a values column from one sheet to a values column on the other sheet (comparing total 2014 forecast dollars to total 2015 forecast dollars, by part number).
In the resulting pivot table, the part numbers are listed correctly in the first column, and the amounts for 2014 by part number are listed correctly in the second column. The problem is the 2015 column, instead of individual sales amounts by part number, every part number amount is identical. The amount showing for each part is actually the overall 2015 total of all parts.
What am I doing wrong?
