Hi,
I have the pivot table 2007 book. On page 26 of my book, I see sample file data (North-Great Lakes-6506100, etc)

I downloaded the 2007 data from this web site, and the sample data appears to have different data. I am looking at the PT2007SampleDataset.xlsm file and it's different, which makes it hard to follow along.

Thanks...

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I would not expect that data file to be in the sample files because that section (Case Study - Cleaning up data) is just describing how to format a data source for use in a pivot table.
It is not until after that Case Study that the location of the sample dataset is given and with that you should then have everything you need to follow the remaining examples.
