Please excuse me this is my first post and I am not familiar with the lay out or formatting here.

I am wondering if there is an easy way to pick out 8 points along my curve or trendline that will best represent the curve.

Here's what I have:
11.752
</tbody>
I plot these on a scatter chart curve and can get a trendline, but what I really need to do is narrow it down and pull out 8 Sweep points that best represent the curve.
Right now I am doing this by hand but it is quite monotonous and I'm hoping these an easier way.
For Example on this run I would pick out:
<colgroup><col><col><col></colgroup><tbody>
Sweep
Thermistor ADC
Power (dBm)
1
39963
16.532

34033
14.701

26
32090
14.12

29
30858
13.714

32
29814
13.318

35
28932
12.927

39
28038
12.424

46
27045
11.752
</tbody>
Thanks in advance for your help!
